“Compared to the Keith Lockhearts of the world I am not such a majestic composer. I am more like the wand that he waves through the air. I keep pace and create structure around rhythm to lead an array of instruments that would fill the Boston Symphony ten times over. My orchestra resides in the grooves of records, compiled from years of treasure hunting in local yard sales and record stores. My pallet of wax runs the gamut of emotions. There are tunes for the heart, the soul, for the joyous and for the melancholy. There are tunes for the passionate and the eager, and there are tunes to heal and rejuvenate. I am an artist for the reason that I not only help people feel, I help them listen.”
